Faversham Antiques Market
First Sunday of the month*
Faversham is home to a monthly antiques market which takes place on the first Sunday of the month. Located in the town’s picturesque Market Place, the market is home to over 50 traders specialising in a wide selection of antiques and collectibles from different genres and eras.
Whether it’s vintage clothing, jewellery; kitchenalia, antique furniture, paintings and prints, mid-century modern, French broccante, vintage tools, ceramics or collectibles – there’s something for everybody’s tastes.
*Note: some years there is no Antiques Market in September due to another town centre event. Please always check favershammarket.org for latest information.
Triple Market Weekend
The first weekend of the month is the perfect time to visit Faversham. In addition to the Antiques Market on Sunday, you’ll find the traditional Faversham Charter Market and Best of Faversham artisan and makers market on Saturday. Visitors can also enjoy Faversham’s boutique shops and delicious places to eat.

In addition to the Antiques Market, Faversham has a fine selection of antiques shops. Standard Quay is packed with antiques and vintage outlets and only a short walk from the town centre. This charming, creekside location is home to a large selection of antiques traders located amongst the quay’s beautiful medieval and Victorian buildings. Standard Quay is also a great spot to stop for a bite to eat and for a stroll along Faversham Creek.

Getting to Faversham
Faversham is easy to reach by train from London or the Kent Coast with access by car via the A2/M2. There are plenty of car parks in central Faversham – the postcode for Central Car Park is ME13 8PW.
