Faversham Mad March Market

Celebrating the arrival of spring!

Mad March Market – 26th and 27th March 2022

A weekend of springtime fun in Faversham town centre

To celebrate the end of a difficult time for many local people and businesses, Faversham Town Council and Faversham Market  joined forces to hold a Mad March Market.  This celebrated the best of Faversham in spring and welcomed back visitors, shoppers and residents to our lovely town.

Visitors to the Mad March Market Weekend enjoyed a special spring market, live music, fun entertainment and activities for all the family, including:

  • Extra markets featuring local traders and producers
  • Entertainment from the Hospice Band, Labyrinth and Merryman the Jester
  • Appearances from Rupert the Shetland Pony, Cinderella and the Easter Bunny
  • Activities for the kids provided by Roleplay Rascals, Nan in a Van and charity Holding On Letting Go
  • Spot the Hare Trail to win tickets for the Royal Cinema
  • Window Display competition, voted for by the public

Many of the town centre’s unique and independent shops, cafes and businesses also opened for visitors to enjoy.

Congratulations to The Yarn Dispensary for scooping first prize in the Window Display Competition, which was voted for by the public.  Lotty’s Flowers and Ollie Bongo’s were very close runners up amidst very stiff competition, as many shops had created beautiful window displays for people to enjoy.
